- I'm leading the seeding of Contemplative Fire in Canada. We began 2008 with a large Advent Retreat led by The Revd Philip Roderick from the Diocese of Oxford in the UK. In 2009 we have begun to create a Christian contemplative community that we hope will re-vitalize some who have left the church and reach others who have never attended. We have a growing mailing list from across Canada of interested people. We meet monthly in the Toronto area for worship, and small groups. We seek to connect with God through scriptures and sacraments and bring some stillness and spaciousnes into a busy city and world.
