Contemplative Fresh Expressions Conference 16th May 2011

We are really pleased that 100 people came to the conference we organised for promoting fresh expressions of the contemplative tradition at the London Centre for Spirituality supported by the Fresh Expressions Roundtable No5 and the Moot Community.

A number of things happened on the day, including four addresses by David Cherry, Tessa Holland, Ian Mobsby and Ian Adams. These were recorded and available through the Moot Community's Website which can be listened to by clicking here.  There 4 podcasts will be published every friday over the next four weeks.

We will be doing another conference, so watch this space.

Moot Community seeking new core team worker for arts cafe lounge project

Some will know that some of us in moot have had a vision of developing an arts cafe lounge in central London for nearly 15 years. We are pleased that we are making progress with setting up our own in the square mile in London, and more news about that shortly.

We are therefore seeking people to join in…

I am pleased to say that Southwark Diocese are holding a study day on Sacramental Fresh Expressions on Saturday 5th November 10.30am to 3.30pm.  The day aims to address the questions: How can you be both a Fresh Expression and liturgical? How do you blend ancient tradition and modern culture? How can you encourage spiritual practice in your young people and not just play games?I am very pleased to hear that…See More
